Goals vs Accomplishments

Like most explorers, Ferdinand Magellan had three main goals:

• Fortune
• Fame
• Conversion to Christianity

Along with this, he wanted to open up a new trading route for Spain, and he did accomplish that.

This did come along with hardships, such as constant conflict with other groups, and he and his crew starved for months, and had to constantly avoid enemy fire and capture
